The 40th Pumpkin Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Oolenoy Community Building in Pumpkintown. The theme is “Celebrating 40 Years in the Oolenoy Valley and Pumpkintown Community.” Activities will include a parade, 152 booths of quality arts and crafts, music, clogging, activities for children, barbecue chicken lunch, barbecue sandwiches and other country foods. The festival will start with the parade at 9 a.m. Barbecue lunch will be served at noon. For more information or to help with the festival, call Buddy Cox at 864-878-2045.
