    Long Cane Massacre Anniversary

    All day

    The Lower Long Cane A.R.P. Church in Troy will mark the 261st Anniversary of the Long Cane Massacre at 3 p.m. on Jan. 31.
    Guest speaker will be Eric Williams of Greenwood. Williams is a Ret. Star Fort Ranger and an artist. He will also unveil his painting of the massacre site.

    Are you separated or divorced and still have bitterness or pain? Faith Community Church is offering DivorceCare online starting Feb. 3. They will meet on Zoom every Wednesday from 7 – 8 p.m. This will last for 13 weeks and you can join at any time. Please register by going to DivorceCare.org, putting in your zip code, and then select Faith Community Church.     Super Garage Sale

    9:00 am-1:00 pm

    The Humane Society of McCormick County will host a garage sale Saturday, Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at 210 South Mine Street, McCormick, across the street from Burger King. Mask up and come on over and score some great deals! Wander thru two buildings chock full of new and previously loved items all at hard to beat prices. And if that wasn’t enough to get you to slather on the hand sanitizer, all proceeds go to saving lives and finding homes for McCormick’s cats and dogs.
